More Information on the Undo Feature

Overview: This article will provide more information on the purpose of the Undo feature.

The Undo feature allows you to completely remove an Attendee Status that you make in error, as if it never happened.

For example, if a staff member accidentally checks in a child that is not yet at the program, they might then set the child status to Checked-Out. This would cause issues with that child's attendance, showing that they have already attended the program for the day.

The correct way to resolve this error would be to Undo the check in.

When you Undo the mistake, it completely removes that record, as if it never happened. This is the best way to ensure clear and understandable attendance records.

Step-by-step Instructions:

  1. First, you will select the child who's status change you want to undo. Then, open the Attendance History drop down.

  1. Select Undo Last
  2. A window will appear that will ask you if you want to delete this log. First, select your name from the staff member drop down. Then, confirm that this is the log that you want to delete.
  3. Press Delete.

  1. The log will now be deleted, and the child will return to their previous attendance status.

  1. This will also remove the record from the Attendance page in the Alaris Staff Web Portal.
  2. You're done! 🥳
