Create and Remove Authorizations

Overview:

You can add an existing member, or a new member, as an Authorized User in the Alaris Staff web app:


Step-by-Step instructions:


  1. Log in to the Alaris Staff Web App for your organization.
  2. Using the Members tab, search for the child member, for whom you want you want to add an authorized adult.

  1. Click on the Member's name to open their profile.
  2. On the Member Details screen, click the Authorization tab in the top of the screen and then click the +New button.

  1. A window will open to the right of the screen, which will prompt you to Select a Member. If the user you are trying to add is an existing member, you can search their name and their profile will appear.

  1. If the individual you want to add is not an existing member with Alaris, you can add them here as well. First, type their name in the search bar. If they do not have an account with Alaris, the results will say NO MEMBERS FOUND. Here, you will select New.

  1. A window will open to the right of the screen, prompting you to fill out additional information for this user. Fill in the required fields, and select Save.

  1. You will be redirected back to the Select a Member search page. Select the user you just created. Select Done.

  1. Next, you will select the Type of session this user has Authorization for. This could be Child Watch, Programs, or All. There will also be the option to set this user as an emergency contact, and the option to add this authorized user for all children in this family. After you've made your selections, click Save.

  1. The user is now added to Authorizations.


Remove an Authorized User:

Step-by-step Instructions:

  1. On the Authorizations page, select the individual whom you would like to remove by clicking on their name.

  1. A window will open to the right of the screen. At the bottom of that window, there will be a Trash Can symbol. Select the Trash Can to remove the Authorization.

  1. A confirmation message will appear. Select Delete to proceed.


  1. The user will now be removed.
