Cell/SMS Phone Numbers and Texting Enabled

Overview:

To send text messages using the Alaris Child Watch Staff app, you first need to make sure the adult you are text messaging has either a Cell or SMS phone number on file and has Texting Enabled set to Yes, as shown below.

Step-by-Step instructions:

1. Open the Alaris Childwatch Staff app.
2. At the top of the screen, click the 3 Hamburger Lines, then select Search/Edit.
3. Search for the Member that you want to edit their text message settings.
4. On the Family Screen, click the Pencil icon in the top right, then scroll down and set Texting Enabled to Yes and just below that, set the existing phone to a Cell or SMS type or add a new phone and set to Cell or SMS type.
5. Lastly, click the Save Disk in the top right of the screen to save your changes.
