Cell/SMS Phone Numbers and Texting Enabled

Overview:

To send text messages using the Alaris Child Watch Staff app, you first need to make sure the adult you are text messaging has either a Cell or SMS phone number on file and has Texting Enabled set to Yes, as shown below.


Step-by-Step instructions:

  1. Open the Alaris Staff app.
  2. Search for the Member that you want to edit their text message settings by using the Member Search tool at the bottom left of the screen.

  1. When you find the member, open their information page.
  2. Under Additional Info, you will find their Text/SMS status.
  3. If you need to update this, select Edit. Then, check or uncheck the Uses SMS option.


  1. Press Save to save your changes.
